Camp RYLA District 5810 has developed and grown from a fledgling idea to one of the most successful youth based programs in Rotary International. Under consistent leadership and dedication from a nucleus of Rotarians, the program has become internationally renowned and has an alumni network of hundreds of young leaders throughout Texas and the rest of the country. This alumni group represents a unique opportunity for the continued growth and development of Camp RYLA District 5810 and the budding organization that is developing within the ranks of the alumni. Mobilizing, organizing and developing a leadership structure for RYLA alumni will help direct and focus the efforts of this capable group of young people. Through careful consideration, planning and research an effective model for alumni involvement can be developed in the coming years.
