This month, many of our alumni completed their undergraduate studies. Look out for this handful of talented individuals. Armed with four plus years of expensive education and established values learned at Camp RYLA, they are ready to make an impact on their communities from Dallas to New Zealand and everywhere in between. Congratulations to all the graduates listed below and good luck with your future plans!
Caresse Bucchan – Earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Evansville. Caresse hopes to begin a Masters of Professional Studies in International Relations and Human Rights at the University of Aukland, New Zealand in March 2010.
Jessica Dunn – Received a Masters in Special Education from Midwestern State University in December. Jessica is now the director of the charter Autism Support Program at MSU, where she facilitates the transition of four college-aged individuals with high-functioning autism or Asperger’s Syndrome.
John Huber – Graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography with a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Photography and will focus on action sports as a freelance photographer.
Giulia Ippolito – Graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and will soon begin medical school at Texas A&M Health Science Center.
Katie Josephson – Received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Southern Methodist University. Additionally, Katie was a double minor in Religious Studies and Latin American Studies. She will soon be a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Puebla, Mexico and will begin a Masters in Anthropology this fall.
Rebecca Lowder – December Graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Rebecca is currently working on her teacher certification and will begin teaching sophomore English at Gunter High School in the fall.
Blake Martin – Graduated with two degrees from the University of Tulsa — a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Blake will now be employed with Ernst & Yong in Dallas.
