For a long time, an idea has been formulating to create a Rotary Club comprised of RYLA alumni and like-minded people. This idea has become a reality. Beth Anderson, formerly Beth Digby, will be leading a club for young adults wanting to give back to the community, but lack the funds and the time to participate in existing Rotary clubs. With a little work, this experimental club could pioneer the way that Rotary works in the future.
The group will be meeting in the Plano area on Wednesday evenings and the dues for Rotary International are $40.00 per year. The first meeting is tentatively set for November 18 at 6:30 pm at the Bavarian Grill in Plano.
